Lisa’s role is to support the social care sector in Wales with research and data, to inform policy and service design, and practice. In collaboration with Health and Care Research Wales, she leads on the delivery of the Social Care Research and Development Strategy.
Before joining Social Care Wales, Lisa spent seven years at the London School of Economics conducting comparative research on long-term care systems. Her PhD research compared the government approaches in England and Australia to improving quality in residential care for older people.
Before this, Lisa spent seventeen years as a consultant and leader in customer relationship management in Australia and the UK, in sectors including utilities, IT, media, telecommunications, travel and health care.
Lisa will be taking part in the research response to the COVID-19 pandemic panel discussion.
